Campaign finance to be more transparent. The campaign finance is only open to public in print. Some first attemps are to get digital political contributions as dataset.
1. Crowdsourcing: citizens to bring ID cards to scan the printed file
2. OCR:
3. cut into small blocks
4. online game as reCAPTCHA to digitalize
5. 30 k records digitalized by 10 k people
6. legal lobby: 5 years after we started. Open digital files 6 months after election.
Q2: Do you see China influence in the project?
clkao: main stream media follow up the stories behind it. A good report to pay one side. There is no direct links to china because it is a public document
Q3: anything related to election?
chihao: Voter guide since 2014
completeing dataset: current and past policy, laws they proposed.

thats is the original idea

OGP initiatives

There will be something like OGP action plan of open government at the end of Jan.
